Ok, I did what you asked and it worked.  There was definately
a conflict with NetworkManager and Network services and now
that NetworkManager is disabled, the network restarted, I am
able to at least reach my local systems but at this point,
my resolvers are not working as explained in my previous
replies to Craig White.
