Hi Steve,

I have an x86_64 laptop running F8. Following the instructions in the following file I was able to get the palm centro syncing with the laptop:

/usr/share/doc/pilot-link-0.12.2/README.libusb

The file is from pilot-link-0.12.2-7.fc8 rpm. If you don't have it on your machine, it should just be a simple "yum install pilot-link" to get it.
