Running Fedora on new Macbook pro

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

This weekend, my laptop died (won't even boot to bios). Because of
this, I am in the market for a new one. I was thinking about getting a
new mac book pro, but I need to be able to boot Linux (preferably
Fedora, more preferably Fedora 8). Does anyone have any experience
dual booting the new Macbook Pro's with Fedora/Other Linux?

I have been using ThinkPads and Red Hat/Fedora for quite a while, but
thought this might be a good opportunity to give the Macbook a try.
Would I be better off just getting another Thinkpad and saving myself
the effort/time/money?
