I looked at R (and specifivally RKWard for KDE) and I see that it is _not_ appropriate. R can make graphs, but it does not perform any of the functions that I mentioned. More accurately, it may allow me to write a program with those functions, but I am looking for a graphics calculator, not a software language in which graphics calculators can be written.
