Pedantic?  You?  Never!  Note you did leave your chin wide open..."none"
is no more a protocol than "static".  ;-p  Heheheheh!

That's beside the point.  I meant that system-config-network and
anaconda set up "static" and THAT isn't documented.

"static" should be documented since that's what the installer uses and
how most systems get configured at the outset.  The docs should be
modified to state that anything OTHER THAN "bootp" or "dhcp" force a
static IP to be used.  It also might be nice to note that "bootp" and
"dhcp" are not the same protocols.  As far as getting IP addresses go
they're similar, but not the same.
