"the unofficial fedora faq" says: "# Become root: su - # Install the yum-priorities package: yum -y install yum-priorities # Now, install my yum configuration (Updated 2 November 2007), using this command: rpm -Uvh http://www.fedorafaq.org/yum http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm " Is this a good idea or just the livna site's self-promotion? I am tempted to think this is pretty official, since it comes from fedorafaq.org. But if it was a good idea, why not put it in the default fedora setup? Confused.
