Yes, on an ASUS PRO31J F3JC. The live disc did work, though every live disc I've tried on any computer has always managed to tangle itself in a knot, after a while. I did my installation NOT from the live disc, though. I picked the rescue disc to boot from, and used an ISO file of the DVD that I already had on an external hard drive. I could have booted from the DVD, as I had a burnt copy, too.
