That would depend on the defaults. The defaults would, most likely, be
to do everything that the DHCP server tells you to.
Last time I looked, the default was to do very little. Basically, set
IP, netmask, broadcast, router and DNS. It would be useful to set the
mail gateway and some other stuff, but I've not seen any distro do so.
