Dear ALL members,
I have a problem in fedora-linux. The problem is that while configuring the authentication by LDAP server, i had changed the nsswitch.conf file for the necessary actions to authenticate the users. As i am a new LDAP as well as feodora-linux NEWBIE, i am unable to LOGIN to the system, as the system now does shows the password prompt hwever it boots up whether in SINGLE mode from the MAIN MENU or through the as usual process.
Someone suggested me to use the bootable DISK, but then how to go to command line interface so as to type the command:-
linux rescue

PLEASE HELP, as a lot of work has already been done, so i would not like to reformat the system.
The problem is that in the normal process of booting, it is not reading the password file because of the password prompt does not show up as a corresponding line in the nsswitch.conf has been commented!!!
Please write in step-wise maaner, as from the google search, i could get soem information but its not so specific abt fedora-linux in this context.
