The problems that this can cause are fairly obvious if you read up on what
--nodeps and --force actually do.  In short, you are deliberately bypassing
(and quite possibly breaking) the rpm dependency system that manages the
software installation and removal process on your computer.

When is it reasonable to use those options?  Well, pretty damn seldom, as an
extreme last resort, and with great fear and trembling.
