Hi,

I am using 64 bit fedora 8 test2 on my DELL D630 laptop. One of my application require 32 bit jre and I have installed the latest jre6u2 from SUN as well, but when I try to start the java ControlPanel I am getting the following error.

[root@testf8 bin]# ./ControlPanel
java: xcb_xlib.c:50: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed.
./ControlPanel: line 135: 5695 Aborted ${java_home}/java -Djavaplugin.user.profile=${USER_JPI_PROFILE} -Xbootclasspath/a:${java_home}/../lib/deploy.jar ${_JAVA_VM_OPTIONS} com.sun.deploy.panel.ControlPanel

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Viji
