Hi, On a Thinkpad T61, with Intel X3100 (965GM) graphics, I can fully reproduce a fatal graphics problem when running Google Earth (I tried both a 4.0 and a 4.2 version of GE). When GE starts zooming in, the screen colormap gets corrupted and then the screen becomes black, sometimes showing the "busy circle". The console is the useless until the next reboot, even remotely doing "telinit 3" and "telinit 5" does not bring the screen back, the only solution is to reboot. I get the following kernel message: [drm:i915_wait_irq] *ERROR* i915_wait_irq: EBUSY -- rec: 180192 emitted: 180602 This is with Fedora 7 with all updates up to today (2.6.22.5-76.fc7 kernel, the previous kernel had the same problem). Any ideas? Should I file a bug to xorg-x11-drv-i810, to which "intel_drv" belongs (note that "i810_drv" did not work at all)? Any further suggestions? -- -- Jos Vos <jos@xxxxxx> -- X/OS Experts in Open Systems BV | Phone: +31 20 6938364 -- Amsterdam, The Netherlands | Fax: +31 20 6948204 -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
