(Getting excited, hopefully not prematurely, been wrestling with this for weeks....)


I used the following command (thanks to Phil):

yum  --enablerepo=development install xorg-x11-drv-i810

Oh, boy, this is WONDERFUL. It took a few reboots and tweaking to get it to work right. The native display won't recognize 16x10 but when I plugged my external widescreen in, it came up in 16x10 right away.
