On one of my machines netdump is installed, but when I bring it up using /etc/init.d/netdump start it says no module found: netdump.ko. Can I download the patches from somewhere or download some specific kernel itself which has netdump functionality in it from somewhere?

Try "yum install diskdumputils netdump netdump-server kernel-kdump"
