Anyone know how to change the timeout and retries for yum. For instance supposedly, changing /etc/yum.conf should have worked. But when I opened /yum.conf all I didn't get the option to change the settings that needed to be changed in the yum.conf file because all I got was this: [main] cachedir=/var/cache/yum keepcache=0 debuglevel=2 logfile=/var/log/yum.log exactarch=1 obsoletes=1 gpgcheck=1 plugins=1 metadata_expire=1800 # PUT YOUR REPOS HERE OR IN separate files named file.repo # in /etc/yum.repos.d ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I thought that there would be a timeout and retries option. Anyone know how to change the yum timeout and retries settings? Thanks, Mike -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
