You need vlc. Please open a terminal and type uname -a and push enter.
Copy the output from this command into an email to this list, then it

And for the original poster, here are some simple instructions.
As root, type
rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm
rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-livna
These commands are from Mauriat's site above.
Then type
yum install mplayer*
or
yum install vlc*
or
yum install xine.i386 xine-*
You should now be able to play movies with whichever you installed.
