One small addition - although it is rare to find in new cards, there
can be a jumper on the card that can change the IRQ. There are 4
possible IRQ line on the PCI connector. (INT A through INT d) What
IRQ is tied to the pin depends on the design of the motherboard. The
PCI card has the option of selecting what INT line to use, though
not all boards implement it.
