Help again. I never did get cups started on my Son's computer.... On "/sbin/service cups restart" I am still getting: Unable to read configuration file '/etc/cups/cupsd.conf' - exiting! This is a Fedora Core 6 x86_64 computer with a Lexmark Z42 printer. All was working well until I did an update a few weeks ago. I tried getting the cups RPMs and doing a rpm -Uvh --replacefiles --force: cups-1.2.12-4.fc6.x86_64.rpm cups-libs-1.2.12-4.fc6.x86_64.rpm cups-lpd-1.2.12-4.fc6.x86_64.rpm Per previous post, ls -Z reports: -rw-r----- root lp system_u:object_r:cupsd_rw_etc_t cupsd.conf I still can't start the daemon using /sbin/service. I can start it manually as root and it works. Any ideas? -- Wade Hampton -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
