me, but I do believe that you have secured your place in the annals of

If you don't know what AHCI is then why would you conclude that nobody
should want or need it? And if you have no idea about the subject then
why do you feel the need to post a reply just to say so? Google "AHCI"

I asked in hopes someone like you would help. Now I know what it is
and I have the manual for my new motherboard and it doesn't mention it,
