If you don't hate compiling things and still want to use ipw3945 driver instead of built0in iwl3945, you can give dkms system a try. Remove all kmdl packages, Install latest kernel and kernel-devel (same version as kernel), dkms, ipw3945-dkms (or dkms-ipw3945) packages, then reboot. Your list will grow to something like this: > ipw3945d-1.7.22-4.at > ipw3945-ucode-1.14.2-4.at > kernel-2.6.22.1-42.fc6 > kernel-devel-2.6.22.1-42.fc6 > dkms > ipw3945-dkms Then remember to update kernel and kernel-devel at the same time.
