I get the dbus error message, I see things like that all the time when I start quite a lot of different software from the command line. But the program does run without crashing. I'm using: pidgin.i386 0:2.1.0-2.fc7 and libpurple.i386 0:2.1.0-2.fc7 If it does keep on crashing, follow the information the rest of your message quoted, from pidgin, about making a bug report as it asked for. -- [tim@bigblack ~]$ uname -ipr 2.6.22.1-41.fc7 i686 i386 Using FC 4, 5, 6 & 7, plus CentOS 5.
