Re: x86_64 live CD won't boot

I had that same problem and resorted to a usb drive install. There's a script that comes with fedora called livecd-iso-to-disk that you can use to create the bootable usb drive.

On further investigation, it appears that the neither the live image nor
the install/rescue image contain the driver for the DVD's controller
card.

I suppose that I can still do a network install.  But I also guess that
there is no way to run the live image.  Is that correct?  And will a
network install find the DVD when it's done?
