Thanks! But I have followed instructions to the letter....something has to be wrong somewhere....



I still think you will save yourself a good deal of pain and anguish by
sacrificing a 25-cent CDR and copying bootimg.iso onto it using K3B or
something similar to that.  Just select "Tools - Burn CD Image" from the menu
at the top, point it at bootimg.iso and away you go.

Then all you have to do is boot from the CD.




True. But I also want to use this as a learning experience....thanks for helping!
