Got a bunch of warnings like this:
warning: /usr/share/texmf/fonts/map/pdvips/psfonts_jp.map created as
/usr/share/texmf/fonts/map/pdvips/psfonts_jp.map.rpmnew
during today's update to tetex-dvips.i386 0:3.0-40.1.fc7
All the .rpmnew files are identical to the existing .map files.
Anyone know why this popped up? Any reason no to just remove the .rpmnew
files?
I do see that the .map files belong to two packages:
$ rpm -qf /usr/share/texmf/fonts/map/pdvips/psfonts_jp.map
tetex-fonts-3.0-40.1.fc7
tetex-dvips-3.0-40.1.fc7
