I tried that also but this does not work eather.

I also tried the suggestion of Craig:

 $ cat ~/.Xclients-default

> # Created by Red Hat Desktop Switcher

> WMPATH="/usr/bin /opt/bin /usr/local/bin /usr/X11R6/bin"

but no result.
