After a thorough backup, I've just installed F7. The install succeeded, however booting gets stuck at this message: Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel. How to continue? This is the first boot. Thanks in advance.
The first step is to press Enter at the GRUB prompt, then edit the kernel boot command to remove the "quiet" parameter.
This should provide more clues as to where in the boot process it's stuck.
