The new kernel works just fine for me. I'm not in any way saying that it's the kernel team's fault, but one reason VMware won't reconfigure with the new kernel is because of changes to kernel headers that make them incompatible with the C++ vmware uses. In particular, /usr/src/kernels/2.6.22.1-27.fc7-i686/include/asm-i386/page.h uses anonymous struct initializers in a C++-incompatible way. In fact, the latest vmware-any-any patch looks like it is http://knihovny.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/vmware-any-any-update112.tar.gz, and it works for me. > > Rahul > > -- Matthew Saltzman Clemson University Math Sciences mjs AT clemson DOT edu http://www.math.clemson.edu/~mjs -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
