You got me wondering for a moment, why do you have to
"math" the bit,

which operation? unary, or binary 

which math?, algebra, geometry, calculus, differential
equations.  It gets harder and harder, and then it
does not work :(

Wifi should not be that hard and unfortunately it is
for many despite Karl's and others' effort to help.
