Consider it a warning, not an error message. It looks like the
driver does not support the "Set Frequency" operation. I get the
same thing on my ipw3945 wireless NIC, but it works fine. If you
post the output of iwconfig and let us know if you are using WPA or
WEP, we can probably help.
