Does anybody have any experience with the Scalix email server?

The Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scalix) isn't very
complimentary:

"Scalix is an bug ridden poorly supported open source e-mail and groupware
server that runs on Linux, licensed under the Scalix Public License (SPL)[1].
It is proprietary software ."

Don't believe everything you read on wikipedia !! Is it perfect? No, it is
not but it works pretty well for ~500 users. If you need/want support from
Scalix you of course need to pay for it. IMO, it is NOT poorly supported if
you are willing to pay for support. For the most part it just sits in the
corner and runs. Depending on your POV, one of the bad things about it is you
need to run sendmail. M4 macros make my brain hurt. :-( Scalix is pretty easy to
setup and admin once you get used to it. The Outlook plugin works pretty good
also.

Hope this helps,

Regards,
