If you go to the below URL that is on every email that goes to this
list, or the pertinent list you are on, scroll to the bottom and put in
your list email addy.  On the next page, put in your password and then
you can scroll down to the configure section to put in the option to not
receive emails for now until you are ready to start it back up.  Just
remember to do this all over again when you are ready to receive again,
or to change your options.
