Have you heard of coundit? it is a great project - and a really useful app. Please look at the screencast[2] and the project page[1] if you aren't familiar with it. I use it on my Fedora 7 system to sync my tomboy notes between different machines and different user account and I love it and it works great. Please check it out. I have reported a bug[3] because although it works great on F7 it doesn't on FC6.
