Please don't mislead users into thinking they'll get Free 3D acceleration when buying r5xx family cards. (The Phoronix articles also fail to highlight this important restriction.)

Understood. But I will be happy just to get 1920x1200 resolution for 2D back! :)

My terminals look 'fat' at 1600x1200 which is the the max I can seem to get with the vesa driver. :(
