According to the messages received to my question, I did what you said. I compiled the uvcvideo driver too, but the "make install" gave me a warning message. That's the first time I get such message when I install it. I do that each time a new code is available on the cvs, but I've never got such error. This is what I got : [fm@celtes43 uvc]$ make Building USB Video Class driver... make[1]: entrant dans le répertoire « /usr/src/kernels/2.6.21-1.3228.fc7-i686 » CC [M] /home/fm/tmp/uvc/uvc_driver.o CC [M] /home/fm/tmp/uvc/uvc_queue.o CC [M] /home/fm/tmp/uvc/uvc_v4l2.o CC [M] /home/fm/tmp/uvc/uvc_video.o CC [M] /home/fm/tmp/uvc/uvc_ctrl.o LD [M] /home/fm/tmp/uvc/uvcvideo.o Building modules, stage 2. I guess I'm gonna do as usual, go and grab the latest kernel on kernel.org and compile it to match my needs. I do not understand how Fedora has organized that. I thought I would have been able to download a source rpm file, and running rpm -ivh kernel-src.... would have installed everything under /usr/src Francois -- -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
