Normally you have to run "chkconfig <daemon> on"
to get something to start on re-boot.
Your exactly right on that. I was checking with ps -A and the
demon's were not there! But chkconfig does do the job. Thank you!
Also it is probably better under Fedora
to say "service NetworkManager start" (or restart).
[My point is that there are two independent operations,
starting the daemon, and registering it to start on re-boot.]
I tried both start and restart but niether worked after a reboot.
