I found out how to produce them, just type AltGr-<whatever>-<whatever>.
This is a bother, I think, which is why I don't like the "us-acentos"
option.

This is exactly what I was looking for, EXCEPT that it doesn't work in
Digikam, which is the exact application where I need it.  It does work
in Evolution, and Yumex, but doesn't work in Digikam, Lyx, and
Qalculate.  Font problems?  Probably not, since pasting č in from KChar
Select works just fine.

Where is a full table of composed characters?  Does anyone on the list
know?
