But there are a surprising number of packages to upgrade,
at least with Fedora-7.
IIRC, there were over 1GB of upgrade packages a few days ago.

Incidentally, I don't agree with the comment about Fedora-7.
I think I have had fewer problems installing and running Fedora-7
on a number of machines than I did with FC-6.
