I've seen the same problem on F7 install. It most likely has to do with

I too suspect as much but...
As a workaround, you can set the mouse pointer to software rendered mode
(normally, the pointer is hardware-accelerated)
How do I switch it?

Hi,
I just installed f7 on a new box. Once the machine is up and running the
mouse pointer disappears. The mouse is working because if I move it
carefully I can use it to navigate the menus at the top of the screen. I
was
able to turn on the option to highlight the mouse when the ctrl key is
pressed
which allows me to kind of operate the machine.
I have installed all of the updates but I cannot figure out how to get the
mouse pointer to show up. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this.
I am not running any of the nVidia propriatory modules and I would like to
avoid that if possible.
