Whatever the reason is, those microscopic images are unreadable on a 
1600x1200 screen. So you wind up clicking an icon for effect and 
canceling if it wasn't what you wanted.

Surely the developers must at some time use a screen that's more than 
640x400 and see how teeny these things are?  Or do they think folks 
running more than 800x600 are the very elite few?  There's 
nothing 'elite' about me, I put my pants on one leg at a time just like 
the rest of the world.  But my screen runs at 1600x1200.
