(note: this has almost nothing to do with Fedora) Anyway:

1) what is the exact format of the spreadsheet? Without knowing that
   it is difficult to answer: opendocument, ASCII, tab-delimited file,
   what?

2) Can you provide a line or two of actual texts to concatenate?

I am not sure *I* can help you with this, but knowing the answers to
the questions above will surely allow more people to contribute if
they can.
