I was trying to point out that I had more objectivity than you ascribed to me. I also wanted to indicate that I have a reasonable amount of knowledge of Samba and Windows networking but I would definitely agree that I am not the most knowledgeable samba person and it should be obvious that when it comes to Linux to Linux networking, I invariably use NFS and not Samba (with the sole exception, my iTunes music folder).
