It depends on what other machines are on your network. For example, if you share with Windows 2000 PCs, they may insist on being the browser, and continually take over the job, and delay things while they figure out the topology of the local network. It can take 15 minutes, or more, for machines added or changed on a network for all changes to get recognised. -- (This box runs FC6, my others run FC4 & FC5, in case that's important to the thread.)
