My point is that it simply does not matter for the current discussion. All the talk about @redhat.com ids and official positions is just hand waving and I refuse to get into that game.

Personally I get tired of people saying that Fedora is not a RedHat
product. Repeat to self the motto: If it walks as a duck .....

1) It not a product at all from Red Hat or otherwise. It is available as ISO images for download and never sold.

2) As one measure, Fedora has more packages maintained by folks outside of Red Hat folks than inside it and a lot of extras packages are maintained by Red Hat folks in their own interest. That is even ignoring translation, documentation etc.
