That's all well and good, but if people don't complain, maybe no-one
realizes there's a problem :-)
You might choose to help instead and it also depends on how you
complain. A bugzilla is one form of complaint that has a potential to
yield benefits. A rant probably not. Package maintainers in many cases
cannot just indiscriminately update to the latest version available. If
you want the latest of just about everything you would need to use the
development version of Fedora instead.
