system-config-display

I use synaptic to download system-config-display.
It seems to download and install OK.
But when i run it I get the following:

[root@localhost ~]# system-config-display
Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "/usr/share/system-config-display/xconf.py", line 22, in ?
   import gobject
ImportError: No module named gobject

[root@localhost ~]# uname -a

[root@localhost ~]# python

Anyone have any ideas?
