Allright, I've got the Server installed. I cannot enter the password
as user, rather, only as superuser. I'm creating a VM now as
superuser. I hope that I will be able to run it as user after it is
created.

I must run the command "export LANG=C" before I start the Virtual
Machine. Would it be best to create a shell script to launch the vm
from in that case? Something like this:

#!/bin/bash
export LANG=C
vmware

and save it in ~/bin as "vmware"? Will the system look in ~/bin before
looking in the other places? I once knew how to set that up (in a
hidden file in ~/ but I can't find that info now).
