It might very well be, we use modified xawtv drivers for it.
Do you use the fedora amsn package? If so could you test out the svn
version? (doesn't even have to be installed, just download,
./configure
make
./amsn

If that still doesn't work good we are interested in the exact problems,
so we might be able to fix them.
