I almost don't use acrobat anymore, since evince has gotten pretty good lately. The rest of these applications I need. From what I so on this and other linux related lists people generally expect to be able to view java and flash enabled web pages in their browsers and play WMV and other closed video and audio formats and from what I gathered trying to do this on a 64-bit system requires a bit (or sometimes a lot) of hacking.
