Hi all, I'm having some trouble trying to record DVDs -RW and +RW. CDs
get burned OK, but not DVDs. All this on a FC3 system.
Here's the info:

Any ideas on why this is happening?
I can write normal CDs and DVD, but I can't use DVD that are re-writable
because I can't format them.
I think your formatting software is broken!
I don't usually try to format DVD+RW media since it doesn't need to be
formatted. DVD-RW needs to be formatted.
Have you tried K3B (the best DVD burning software for Linux)? It will
do whatever formatting is required automagically.
