A little example will explain my situation: if you, in a Nautilus
window, go to "Backgrounds and emblems" from Edit Menu, in the section
"Patterns" you will see a list of png thumbnails of the patterns. My
Nautilus doet not show anything :( (if I launch it as root, it works
again, however !).
I have reinstalled gnome, nautilus, ImageMagick, and libpng without any
result :(
What is the library that handles this situations ? Perhaps it works only
as root...
Doesn't happen here, and I'm keeping up-to-date with updates. Sounds
like it's probably an issue peculiar to your logon. Try creating
another ordinary user, and see if it works for them.
You are right... that seems a problem connected to my account. I have
just creayed another user and under that account Nautilus works well.
So, have I to delete all my gnome settings (.gnome* and .gconf*) to fix
this ?
